Troubleshooting Guide: How to Address People Directory Import Errors

Errors can occur during Importing for various reasons. 


To prevent these errors, 

  1. Ensure all unnecessary rows, including Instructions and Sample Data, are removed from the Import Template before uploading the file onto the Portal.
  2. Verify that the Import Template does not contain any duplications before uploading the file onto the Portal.
  3. Key fields, especially the Employee Number in column 3 and the Email Address in column 4, are mandatory; at least one of these must be present for a successful import.
  4. Additionally, the Mobile Number (MSISDN) in column 18 must be unique for each profile entry.
