How to assign a Manager to a Business Area

The Corporate Portal provides line managers with the ability to monitor MSISDNs within a Business Area.


The line manager will have:

i. Visibility of all subscribers/MSISDNs and their usage for each respective business area that they manage.

ii. The capability to manage multiple business areas.

iii. Access to a scheduled Business Area Report for each of the Business Areas that they manage.


Below is a guideline on how to assign a manager to a business area:1. From the Corporate Portal landing page, navigate to the 'People & Organization' module.

2. This action will direct you to the people directory page. Open the menu side-panel, click on the 'hamburger icon' located at the top left corner of the page.

3. Click the 'Business Area' tab from the provided menu options.

4. Once the tab expands, choose the 'specific Business Area' to which you wish to assign a manager.

This action will direct you to a page listing all the 'Units' within that Business Area.

5. Utilise the search button to locate the 'specific Unit' to which you wish to assign a manager.

6. On the far-right side of the unit details, click on the 'kebab icon' and select 'Edit'.

7. A pop-up window will appear. Click on the 'Manager' field to display a list of profiles.

8. Enter the 'Manager's Name' that you wish to assign to the unit to refine the search, then press Enter.

Please note that it is possible to assign multiple managers to a single Business Area.

9. Then click 'Save Settings' to complete the process.
