The People Directory feature is a vital component of the Corporate Portal, serving as a centralized system that allows administrators to efficiently view and manage employee and contract information within their organization. 


This tool simplifies the process of handling contract details, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. In this article, we explore the key reasons why organizations should prioritize the creation of a comprehensive People Directory to enhance their internal operations and data management.


Advantages:

  1. Allows users to filter and provide a view of lines in administrative and/or management role.
  2. Provides a view of all registered, invited and not invited lines.
  3. Allows administrators (and line managers) to receive usage related notifications regardless of the device used.
  4. Enables administrators to effectively use escalations and auto-escalations.
  5. Allows for accuracy of cost allocations to all business units.
  6. Provides a view of all active contracts (including the ones not in use).

 

The ‘People Directory' Template enables:

  1. Administrators to assign a number to an individual or a device (3G, Tracker, etc.)
  2. Administrators to keep track of every line in the company (used and unused)
  3. Administrators to add more category fields to further distinguish or describe the line.
  4. Administrators to import lines in bulk.
