Smart Notifications

The Smart Notification feature within Corporate Portal is designed to maximize on the delivery of usage alerts to users. Therefore, alerts are filtered out on what the system determines to be unnecessary notifications. 


Below is a guideline on how to enable Smart Notifications:

1. From landing page, click the ‘Preferences’ tab using the main menu. This action will lead you to the product settings page.

2. Navigate towards the side-menu panel and click on the ‘Notifications’ tab.

3. In the 'Subscriber Usage Alerts' section, enable the 'Use Smart Notification' setting by toggling it to the 'ON' position.

4. Scroll down and click ‘Save Settings’.


When enabled;

Smart Notification ensures users receive the most pertinent usage notifications, thereby mitigating notification fatigue. For example, the portal may omit from sending a notification indicating that a user has reached 50% of their usage on the last day of the month. This is because any remaining usage from the previous month does not carry over to the next month; instead, the SIM will be allocated a fresh quota for the new month.

If there is a need for users to receive all usage notifications without any filtering, disable the ‘Use Smart Notification’ setting by toggling it to the 'OFF' position.
